Holidays~

Havin’ a ball in the alley!

Last Monday, we had the chance to go bowling with some of our friends! It’s super convenient and fun to go bowling since it’s nearby, plus it’s really cheap! This week we’re still not sure what we’re going to do yet, but our ward mission leader is skipping school to hang out with us, so it should be fun! Fun fact – he didn’t like any of the English names we gave him, so now we just call him Cookie. It’s very fitting!

On Wednesday, to celebrate Mid Autumn Festival, we went with our ward to Yilan to have a picnic! When we left in the morning, it was raining so we were worried, but by the time we arrived to our destination (an hour or so later), it had stopped raining and was a good temperature…perfect! It ended up being really fun! We were just really tired by the end of the day since we had to wake up early in the morning to depart. They took a lot of pictures, but I have’t had a chance to get them yet…next week.

Ready….

Set….

Go!

This last week we also had to the chance to go to this awesome woman’s house that we met on the street. She used to live in the US for a period of time, so her English is also really good! She taught us how to make sweet and sour pork from scratch using really simple methods. It was super good!

Almost too good looking to eat…key word, almost!

Apparently one of my investigators from my last area is getting baptized today! I’m not able to attend it since it’s a distance away, but hopefully I’ll be able to get some good pictures of it from other people!

Most people get a four day weekend this week since there’s a holiday tomorrow (double ten day), and they also have today off as well. Unfortunately, this means that everyone is out traveling, therefore making everything super busy! But today should be fun nonetheless…!
